Submissions
The Indie Music Zealot Blog is always accepting submissions, and here is the submission process.
- Mail a CD or vinyl copy of the album(s) to:

Indianapolis, Indiana 46268 - Submit the following information to us, preferably via our contact form when possible.
- Artist name (can include group members if desired)
- Artist hometown
- Album title
- Album release date
- Track listing
- Album cover image (at least 500px wide, or we’ll scan it)
- Artist web page, MySpace, etc
- Purchase information (where, how much, etc)
- Label (must be indie)
- Artist Genre/Style
- Age rating (i.e. would it be “stickered” if it were a major label release)
- Submitted by information (who is submitting the album)
- Contact information (not published, but for us to get in touch)
- Grant us permission to post album details and cover art
- State if a song or two can be played in our podcasts (Trolley Dodgers, Utter Oddcast & any other future podcasts we launch in the future), free of charge and licensing fees
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
We do not charge anything to create a post about your album. However, we do require that you send us a copy beforehand.
How many different albums can I submit?
You may submit as many albums as you’d like, regardless of the original release date.
What formats may be submitted?
We currently accept submissions of compact discs (CDs) or vinyl records. Unfortunately we are unable to accept cassette tapes, 8-tracks or MP3’s.
What sort of submissions are acceptable?
Genre wise, we are open to anything. However, we do reserve the right to not post album information for albums which we deem to contain inappropriate content (obsessive profanity, demeaning, offensive to the general population, etc).
